Finally, a SC fanart in a very long time... D:

I actually had the art originally meant to be oriented 180 degrees from this version. I scanned the pic and rotated it accidentally in this orientation... and ended up likin' it. :D But then, the wraith would have the be reflipped and reoriented and cut out precisely... and here is the fin product!

Ooog, dont mind the red siggy, if it aint big enuff and covering ur entire pic, it will be stolen! (*cough* by Chinese commie netnoobs *cough*) And its not like u guyz havent seen those siggies the first time! :D

I had trouble titling this, at first it was "Wraith Dogfights a Mutalisk," but it sounded lame... then it became... "때려눕힘." but who can read that? so it became translated to "Hit 'em Down," but it didnt have enuff force.... "Beat 'em down?" "Clobber 'em down?" I finally settled with "Shatter 'em Down..." I hope the language has enough force to shatter all your brainzorz...

Meh, my muta is from teh SCG mutalisk pencilled concept drawing by someone in blizzard probably with the first name "Felix." He usually puts a simple "f" for a signature. Well mine looks like its ripped off from his, doesn't it? Ever since I saw his picture in 2002 or 2001, that image was embedded into my head as the identity of the mutalisks. Besides, 3d models and all that look pretty close to Felix's mutalisk... maybe his version was also from someone else's concept art, maybe something some other concept artists had done in the late 90s for StarCraft.

But I didnt have the picture for reference, I used my memories of it :D

Well, it's very nice work there, whatever the case. Very unique.

I just don't see too many Mutalisk pictures out there (by that I mean unique ones), would've been hard for me to draw. :D

It's "Kkachi Halbae!" Kkachi = Magpie; Halbae = "Gramps" so u can translate to.... the "Grampaw Magpie." Well, it doesn't have the same aesthetic value when its been translated to english... ^^;

Nice! Awesome work as always. You don't see too many mutalisks pictures out there. I like the wings and how big it is compared to the wraith, gives the mutalisks a big more powerful feel.

But...wouldn't the the wraith be using its missiles? :D

Yar yer right. I guess this wraith is outta missiles then D: On SCpedia unimatrix saw it and agreed the wraith was too small compared to the muta... like you, i do like the picture as it is, but what do you think about increasing the wraith's size? If there isnt space I can enlarge the image size to accodate the bigger wraith.

Say... what would the ratio be between a wraith, mutalisk, and a dropship? (thinks of SCG cinematic trailer) hmm... 1:1.5:3?

Kewl! Very nice, and good job considering how difficult the angle on the mutalisk is.
Is that a very huge mutalisk? I'd have thought they were about the same size as a normal wraith.
