DOWNLOAD FOR FULL PICTURE; FULLVIEW for Okayness
Alternate version! I thought this picture was more dramatic this way, the mutalisk here looks more weak and dropping like a fly in this picture! I havent quite captured that "punched in the face" look and posture i wanted to portray... :(

The main issue I'm concerned here is about the portrayal of the wraith. Is the direction imposing? Size? Designs crappy (wings = cardboard D:)

What if i deleted that wraith and just added a faraway wraith flying "face on" towards us -- its just killed its prey and the mutalisk had fought with the wraith in a dogfight high in the sky, but is currently caught falling all the way down to here....

i agree. the wraith looks more like its chasing while mourning its dead surrogate mother as she dies after being raped.

ive no suggestions on how to make the wraith look more imposing though lol

and yes ur suggestion for the head on flying towards us wraith, i imagine it would capture the original spirit of the artwork which u are aiming for

Hmmm... Since you changed the rotation, I think that perhaps you should replace the wraith.

You can possibly have the wraith flying away from the viewer, in the background somewhere "moving on" from its kill.

HOWEVER, the full view looks awesome and nothing needs changes... :D

Any way is good. But it's your choice in how it comes out in the end.

Actually, my suggestion would be to have the wraith flying towards, almost past the lens of focus. As if the ';punch in the face' is past, and it's flying on. The mutalisk looks as if it's fallen back, after all, which would leave space in the air to fly past.

I think the wraith is much bigger in proportion than here.. also the wings don't angle so sharply. Otherwise it looks good. The mutalisk looks really good, nice work on the shading and texture and such.
